SD 10/22/05 - "Snakes Alive" - Finally a chance for a much-needed bath and a change of clothes.

We're back on Starbase 13, after the trip over. Lynx woke up before we went into warp, but Tarra is still out of it. Hope nothing's wrong. Much of the trip was Lott looking over her new "naga" body and seeing what she could do with it. By the looks of Cosmo, she can certainly deliver some "constricting" hugs. When he had a chance to scan her with Vak-Surak's tricorder, he found an unhingable and stretchable jaw and infared sensors. That last one would have come in handy on the old ship. The jaw, I have a mental image of what she could have done to Ironbottom, but it would probably have given her food poisoning. Most everyone seemed accepting of her new look, Cosmo a bit fascinated, possibly as he was changed himself. Lera, however, kept moving away from her. After what happened with the man-eating plant, her voraphobia is probably in high gear.

It wasn't long before we came out of warp and landed in Starbase 13's shuttlebay. Lynx was the first out of the shuttle, running out and bowling over Ben Dover whom had been silent durring the trip. The rest of us then went out and to the showers and the replicator for clothes. By now, some of us were down to a few shreds of cloth that we kept around our midsections. I imagine we attracted a few stares as we went down the halls. Irronicaly enough, with the lab coat she found, Lera was the best dressed of the group. With their animal skins, Droolin and Dover than the rest.

I guess we'll be meeting with the Admiral soon. I wonder who they got to replace Ironbottom. Hopefully not S'Cowl with his attitude. I'm also wondering about that smaller shuttle and those two Caitian restraint suits.

And then comes the matter of the new ship. That is, if we get a new ship. We very well could get split up and assigned to different vessels. *Sigh* Admiral Dude would bail Treki out of a mess like this for sure. I have no such luxury.

For now, I'll have to settle for a hot shower and a change of clothes, which just hours ago was very much a luxury.
