SD 4-20-02 - "Shocking Experience" - One of those days ...
The talk with Inspector K'Lynxyl went well, at least until the end. She must have wanted to talk badly as she was in her bathrobe. We chatted for a while, the conversation going from the incident involving Lera and the medical test that revealed hormones in the food, to other subjects. She did appear, almost flirtatious, at times, but that must have been both misinterpereting a foriegn culture's gestures and my still being worked up over the earlier incident. Somehow, my experience with the Junkyeskyo Curse came up, and she had a good laugh.
Lera called me on the comm, so I went to see what she wanted. I went through the doorframe, and the next thing I knew I was on K'Lynxyl's bed, in pain, with trails of smoke coming from smoldering spots on my uniform. Dr. Martin was on the floor, also smoking. We'd been zapped by an electrical short in the doorframe! Lera and Flare Strife showed up just afterward. Flare said he'd take care of the electrical problem, and began work on it. Everyone minus Flare then headed to sickbay. Lera wanted to stick around, but K'Lynxyl as a registered nurse pulled a medical order. Lera got a bit mad, and stormed off.
Somehow, I think I'm going to get it for that.
Martin got a call of someone else getting shock, and left, so K'Lynxyl was left beind to tend to my injuries.
