SD 06/11/05 - "Not What the Doctor Ordered" - It seems so strange.

For weeks now, we've pressed ourselves on and on, always a goal ahead of us - get to safety, fix the ship, stop Ironbottom. Now ...

Nothing.

That discombobulated feeling. You're so used to your old routine of pushing yourself so hard for so long, even though you hated it, not that it's over, the lack of it makes you uneasy.

I passed out a few commands, notably getting Lynx's kids over to her. I thought she might be a little grumpy waking to a baby's cry, but I figured she'd be even more uneasy waking up with them nowhere around. Still tired, I fell back to sleep on the couch. It seems I guessed right. Lynx left me a freindly note and the replicator set to coffee.

A free day, and I don't know what to do with it. Lynx in her note mentioned dinner, until then -

Just got a comm. It's from Admiral S'Cowl, who will be serving as Ironbottom's temporary replacement as sector commander. He wants to meet me and the Bridge staff in fifteen minutes. Looks like this is where we get our official congratulations. Lynx mentioned something about a medical exam, but I'm sure it's over and done with by now.

*ADDITION* Went over to check Cosmo when he wouldn't answer my com. The exam is still going on. I better ask the Admiral for a little more time.

Just heard something potentially disturbing about Lera. On the Ferrengi ship Moneybags, she was to provide support for the "Guttter." However, it seems after the ship took a serious hit from a Borg particle beam, a number of personel were injured, including Lera and Droolin whom were knocked out. The Daemon ordered the ship to retreat, but after the battle was stopped by a Federation ship and the two were taken aboard, unconscious but otherwise allright. No word on where the Moneybags is now, though some crewmen were whispering about Lera. She was supposedly found naked, but that may be those stories about her spreading further wild rumors.

Guess I'll hear more from her at the meeting.
