SD 11/19/05 - "What's in Spore for Halfpipe?" - Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork!

It was inevitable that I would get a sewagesystemfull once we got this ship on our hands, but it still seems so overwhelming. Forms to request supplies, forms to request access to forementioned supplier, forms to request the forms, auuuuggghhhh!

Supervising the reconstruction, repair being too mild a word, of this ship has been daunting. We had to wait over an hour for life support to fully render the main decks habitable. Some decks and even a few rooms in habitable decks have been temporarily sealed off due to vaccum due to leaks, poisonous fumes, or in some cases reports of things crawling around. Of those rooms that somehow maintained room temperature, they were overgrown with mold and fungi. We took care of that, but we're still cleaning out mold from the air duct system. We're getting people down due to allergic reactions. Rumor has it radiation from space on the unshielded ship over the months in storage caused some of the mold to mutate and crawl about on it's own, but they're probably just the results of overactive imaginations.

We'd get it done faster if we had more supplies or functioning replicators. Those here just can't be relied on. We quickly learned not to trust them with food. Lynx says she should be able to arrange something. I wonder what it could be?

Hmmm ... I've just been informed the EMH has been activated again. I wonder what it is this time?

NARRATIVE: Lynx looks for alternative sources of supplies to get around S'cowl's men, and orders shipments of bubblegum and "My Little Pony" dolls in an attempt to confound them. Meanwhile, Half phasers some slimy mold in her room, and ends up enveloped in a thick cloud of spores. Melvin tries getting a bucket of bleach from the replicator, but instead gets a bucket of juice: peach. Tarra, in a vac-suit, gets her out. But by the time they get to the Medbay, Half is coughing up large hunks of gunk that animate and start moving toward Lera.
