SD 2-16-02 - "Monster Luggage" #1 - It never ends ...
While we were still talking to Inspector K'Lynxyl, the new doctor, Martin, came over and introduced himself. With the matter of K'Lynxyl's baggage, our new Operations Officer Mogsba also showed up. K'Lynxyl felt only the Admirality Quarters would fit her luggage, so we went ahead and stationed her there for now. Lera wondered about a party to welcome the newcomers, so I let the crew start making arrangments for one.
K'Lynxyl is certainly an ... unusual sort. One moment, she's questioning my judgment, the next, she's pincing me in an area I'd rather not mention. Other crewmen seem to be inclined to act oddly around her. Demian Tempres spilled his drink on her tail and Martin got a cloth and wiped it. I told them to leave womens' tails alone.
I wondered about K'Lynxyl's luggage, so I asked Mogsba how much was there. He called back saying he could only account for two. He did find one peice that was unidentfied with no tag showing whom its owner might be. One of Mogsba's personel opened it, and was immediately assaulted by tentacles! A monster was inside! We tried transporting it away, but there was a malfunction, and the transporter broke down. The slimed crewman was able to flee, but the monster was still on the loose.
K'Lynxyl's reaction upon hearing about it, "It better not have ate my luggage."
