SD 07/23/05 - "Trials and Defibrulations" - Prosecutor Naro really let Lera have it. He showed a recording from the survelience camera at the "Kinks & Giggles" from Risa. With him pointing out the details, it looked truly devastating. Oddly, Lynx didn't seem the least bit disturbed seeing herself battered on-screen. If fact, if I didn't know any better, I'd swear she was enthralled.

Tarra caused a bit of a disruption, ditching her uniform and rubbing Lynx's and Lott's feet. When the judge saw her, she ordered her to stop. But Lott objected, citing some regulation that it was protected as part of their "culture." She looked it up, then conceeded there had been a local regulation that had been recently passed. But Droolin was enjoying the sight a little too much, and when Tarra spotted him, she sat back down.

When Naro began showing the fire estinguisher supposedly used in the incindent, dented and a bit bloody in spots, Lott raised an objection, even though Lynx and not Lera was her responsibility. Maybe it was Melvin didn't seem to be doing so good. Lott charged that the evidence could not be taken into account on the grounds they hadn't examined it, and Naro responded they could have any time before the trial.

Then the estinguisher went off in his face, causing him to drop it and it landed painfully on his foot. The judge called a recess, and Naro granted them access to the evidence. I don't really know what they were doing from the seats, but I think Orlan mentioned something about "Photoshop Edit." He seemed to be having too much fun.

Naro was treated by Cosmo and, strangely, aided by Lynx. I guess that was a cold estinguisher, because the reptilian got the shakes for some moments. But he recovered, the judge was called back. And then all heck broke loose. Somehow a wasp had gotten in and stung Half, turning her a purplish shade. Then the wasp went to Benjamin Dover, and he panicked, shoving me and Half over to get away from it. Lott ended up conking him with the same fire estinghisher used as the exhibit against Lera, and then it exploded, covering them both in a cloud of dust. The judge was banging the gavel like crazy, "Order in the court!" Then I saw the gavel break ...

Then the next thing I know, I'm laying down in the seats, a painful lump on my head, the head half of the gavel next to me, and the trial was in recess again.

It never ends ....
