Description Vak - Surik is average height for a Vulcan, about 5’5 and 140 lbs. she has shoulder length black hair, cut straight across her forehead in the typical Vulcan fashion (the only logical way to keep it out of your eyes to maximize performance). She wears the Starfleet issue of 23rd century science position uniform, with the standard issue black tights and thigh boots.

Background Vak-Surik served on the U.S.S. Lupus under the command of Captain Stephanista Jordan. NCC – 579 was a scoutship, its five-year mission was to scout along the very fringes of Starfleet territory. Four years into the mission, something went wrong. The first officer, (Stefan Jordan, the captain’s twin brother) attempted to kill the captain. Lieutenant Bear, the transporter chief, said he did nothing wrong but the chief engineer died in a transporter accident. Not long after Vak-Surik started a personal investigation into the unusual happenings on the ship, they were attacked by Klingons. The Lupus was destroyed. Vak-Surik managed to make it to the last escape pod, a stasis tube that the human crew complained about because it looked like a coffin. Unbeknownst to her, the ship, and everyone aboard, was declared missing in action when Captain Kirk, in his famous U.S.S. Enterprise found the debris from the Lupus floating in space. Vak-Surik’s stasis tube landed on a nearby planet. However, the auto revive mechanism had broke upon entry, and so she remained frozen for years. Somehow, The renegade scientist Dr. Hojo came across the stasis pod and kept it in storage until crewmen of the USS Freedom in a S.U.R.V.I.V.O.R. training exercise came across it and revived her.

Service Record - Communications Lieutenant aboard the U.S.S. Lupus, but considering the amount of time spent in the stasis tube it is only logical she be temporarily set back in rank due to the major changes in technology. However, given the record of rapid promotions aboard her new post, this indignity should prove temporary. Before that, she had served time on several scoutships, and on one constitution class ship.
